We're upgrading our systems to bring you enhanced mobile banking, online banking, bill pay and more.  The upgrade will provide flexibility for future enhancements and products.  This page will be an important go to resource.  We encourage you to check back regularly to keep up to date with the exciting changes.

Our offices will be closed Friday, December 1, 2017 - December 3, 2017.  Please prepare as services will be limited during the upgrade weekend.  Be sure to withdraw enough funds to have cash on hand until the branch reopens on Monday, December 4, 2017.

Member Checklist - What you can do to prepare

Below are steps you should take to ease the transition process: 

  • Branches, Online Banking, Mobile Banking will be unavailable during the System Upgrade.
  • Prepare for limited access to your account and cover any banking needs ahead of the System Upgrade Weekend December 1, 2017 through Monday, December 4, 2017
    • You will have limited to access to cash from your accounts, including:
    • Limited access to cash using your First American Debit Card in all ATM’s includes all First American CU ATM’s.
    • Limited access to funds when using First American Debit for purchases.
    • No access to Shared Branches (First American CU members usually have access to thousands of Credit Union Branches nationwide where you can walk into a different Credit Union and complete many day-to-day transactions, including withdrawing cash.)
    • Please plan ahead to have sufficient cash while the credit union is closed for the weekend
    • Have back up forms of payment available until December 4, 2017
  • Log in to online banking and download your eStatements from the past 6 months.  
  • Log in to online banking and download your copies of checks from the past 6 months. 
  • Schedule any bill payments that are due between November 23, 2017 and December 04, 2017 to be paid no later than November 22, 2017 to ensure there are no interruptions. 
  • Credit cards and checks are alternative payment methods for the upgrade period.
  • Please be sure all of your contact information is up-to-date with us. It is very important for us to have your most recent mailing address, phone numbers, and email addresses.
What will change with the System Upgrade?

Online Banking

Online banking will have a new log in process, you will need to sign-up or enroll for online banking at FirstAmerican.org on or after December 4, 2017.  

To enroll, visit, FirstAmerican.org click online banking, then click sign up.  Complete the online form and after your member information is verified we will provide a new one time password. 

Online Bill Pay

Bill Pay will be upgraded during this time.  Please schedule any bills that are due between November 24 and November 30 to be paid no later than November 22 to ensure there are no interruptions.  You will not need to re-enter payee information and account numbers on the new bill pay system. 

Mobile Banking

The First American Mobile App will also have a new look and be easier to use.  On or after 12/4/17 please delete the former app and download the new app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Telephone Banking

Telephone banking will undergo upgrades; you will need to re-enroll in telephone banking.
