First American Credit Union is thrilled to announce the inaugural recipients of the Community Impact Scholarship. The two outstanding students from Casa Grande Union High School — Kamila Garcia-Lorona and Elle Wiles — were selected based on their academic excellence and dedication to over 40 hours of community service.
This scholarship program emphasizes financial literacy, requiring applicants to complete a recognized course and create a personal financial plan for their first year of college or career. Each recipient will receive $5,000 to support their educational journey.
“It is essential that we invest in our youth, as they are the next generation of leaders,” said Sylvia Mejia, Board Treasurer of First American Credit Union. “This program empowers students already making an impact in their communities to continue their journey toward positive change.”
The Community Impact Scholarship honors students who demonstrate exceptional leadership, social responsibility, and a commitment to making a meaningful difference.
Join us in supporting our future leaders as they drive positive changes in their communities!
